Over 800 participants, volunteers
and spectators came out for the 2013 Anthem James River Splash and Dash,
sponsored by Riverside Outfitters, in Richmond on Sunday, September 22.
The
event was scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 13th, but due to
extremely high river levels (over 12 ft. at the Richmond – Westham gauge) the event was postponed until Sunday, September
22.
The event took place in downtown Richmond on
Belle Isle. Participants started the race on the island and finished by grabbing
tubes and paddled across the river to the finish line. Race results can be found on the event
